The Centre

The Specialized Unit for the Treatment of Children with Autism and Pervasive Developmental Disorders is a decentralized unit of the Children’s Psychiatric Hospital in Attica, Greece.

This facility has been the sole structure of this kind since 1985 (within the Greek National Health System) and it was set up under the 2716/1999 Act concerning mental health. Following the providing of the same act it is categorized as a Specialized Care Centre.

The unit offers mental health services to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism or within the pervasive developmental disorders spectrum.
